Projeto Semeando - E. E. Cassiano Mendes/2007





O assunto: segurança alimentar. Os alunos das oitavas pesquisaram sobre a evolução dos hábitos alimentares na história da humanidade. Montamos então o stand: Do Édem ao McDonald´s, passando pela história de Pocahontas, Captain Smith , a colonização americana e os hábitos alimentares de então.


Os alunos das 6as. séries, com orientação da professora Iramara Moreira, trouxeram as ervas, os alunos das 5as. montaram as barracas de frutas tropicais. Vale salientar que os alunos das 5as. séries estudaram todo o vocabulário de animais e frutas para montarem a arca de noé e o jardim do Édem. Os professores de Ciências Thomás de Aquino e Nauza exploraram as frutas e suas vitaminas.




Na seqüencia de fotos temos: o jardim do Édem, a idade média, a chegada dos europeus à America e o MacDonald´s.




A professora de Ciências Ana Lúcia , explorou nas 8as e 7as. os alimentos transgêncos e os agrotóxicos. Com relação à Língua Inglesa, o trabalho das 7as. séries foi ótimo, pois pudemos estudar a pirâmide alimentar, concomitante com o conteúdo das aulas de ciências.



Aqui temos todos os colegas num momento de descontração e degustação, pudemos saborear frutas e saladas, sentir todos os aromas possíveis. Na seqüencia temos a turma da 5a. série vestida de esqueleto para mostrar o valor da Educação Física e dos exercícios para a saúde. Eles dançaram a música ' move body , move' da coleção Magic English, da Disney.
O cenário foi montado com a colaboração valiosa de todos os professores, mas especialmente ao professor Ademar - o ' Bega', que elaborou as barracas de frutas tropicais.

I am a teacher of English at E. E. Cassiano Mendes , at Facees- Faculdade de Estudos Sociais e Educação de Divisa Alegre and run an English Course here in Pedra Azul - MG/ Brazil.

The subject researched was: Food Security.

The 5th graders studied animals , fruits , vitamins and the body. The grammar foccus was on the demonstratives, colors, singular and plurals. They described the color of the fruit and the vitamin they contained and its effects on the human body. For Example: vitamin A is good for the eyes. Carrots are yellow, they have vitamin A. They also learned about Brazilian diversity of plants and animals.

The 6th graders went over the herbs and parts of the tree such as: trunk, leaves, etc. They researched on Brazilian herbal teas. At the fair, we could taste some delicious tea.

7th graders studied the food pyramid. They were able to draw big food pyramid charts. Some groups of students brought into class some healthy food and gathered together to taste a healthy breakfast. The grammar focused on S. Present , uses of ' would' to offer.

8th graders researched on the history of eating habits. A panel was assembled to portray from cave men to MacDonald´s. '

From Garden of Eden to MacDonald´s' was the title of the stand. The 5th and 6th graders built Noah´s arch and assembled the Garden of Eden with herbs , and tropical fruits and vegetables. The 8th graders portrayed Cave men eating habits, Medieval times, the arrivel of Europens to America and finally the MacDonald´s culture of fast food.

The medieval table was full of bread, wine and fruit.

They could also learn about slow food x fast food. The grammar focus was the S. past tense, dates, elements of a narrative.

They got in touch with the eating habits of the pilgrims first thanksgiving, and what Pocahontas and Captain Smith could have eaten.

The 5th graders dressed up in skelectons showed the importance of exercises for the body. They performed the ' move body move' song , by Disney Magic English.

All of us could taste varied dishes and flavors on that day.
